IPv6 support with dedicated /56 and /64 routing now available on VPS hosting

Native IPv6 support is now available in three of our VPS hosting locations: Silicon Valley, Amsterdam, and Singapore. Rollout to the remaining three data centers (Las Vegas, Dallas, Ashburn) is in progress.

Getting Started

IPv6 is automatically available on all new VPS instances. For existing VPS:

  1. Log into the Client Portal
  2. Go to your VPS networking settings
  3. Enable IPv6 and configure your addresses
  4. Update your applications to listen on IPv6

Technical Details

Our IPv6 implementation includes:

  • Routed blocks - not NATed, direct internet access
  • Full PTR support - configure reverse DNS in the portal
  • BGP announcements - proper routing to all major networks
  • No additional cost - included with all VPS plans
