Do you offer VPS hosting in Washington?

Do you offer VPS hosting in Washington?

Not yet, but we have plans to open a data center in Seattle. Until then, our Santa Clara, California data center provides excellent performance for Washington-based businesses and users.

Less than 10 milliseconds from Washington

Network latency between our Santa Clara data center and Washington is typically under 10 milliseconds. This is fast enough that users in Seattle, Tacoma, Bellevue, and across Washington won’t notice any difference compared to a local data center.

For reference:

  • Human perception threshold for “instant” is around 100ms
  • Under 10ms is considered excellent for any application
  • Gaming, video conferencing, and real-time applications all work seamlessly at this latency

Major Washington cities we serve

Our Santa Clara VPS hosting provides low-latency connectivity to all Washington cities, including:

  • Seattle - Washington’s largest city and tech hub
  • Spokane - Eastern Washington’s largest city
  • Tacoma - Puget Sound port city
  • Vancouver - Portland metro area, across from Oregon
  • Bellevue - Eastside tech center, home to major companies
  • Kent - South King County
  • Everett - Snohomish County seat, Boeing headquarters
  • Renton - South Seattle metro
  • Kirkland - Eastside suburb
  • Redmond - Home to Microsoft and Nintendo of America

Washington’s thriving tech industry, particularly in the Seattle-Bellevue-Redmond corridor, is well-served by our West Coast infrastructure.

Seattle data center coming soon

We have plans to open a data center in Seattle to serve Washington and the Pacific Northwest directly. This will provide even lower latency for Seattle, Tacoma, Bellevue, and surrounding areas.

Alternative: Las Vegas data center

If you prefer to keep your data outside of California for regulatory, legal, or business reasons, our Las Vegas data center is an alternative. Latency to Washington is higher than Santa Clara but still suitable for most applications.

Some organizations prefer Las Vegas due to:

  • California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) considerations
  • Business policy requiring data residency outside specific states
  • Regulatory requirements for certain industries
